A. Introducation:
Son La hydropower project is the biggest hydro power plant in Southeast Asia. The project has a reservoir of 224 km2 with storage capacity of 9.26 billions of water cubic meters. The plant construction commences on December 02, 2006 in Muong La, Son La. The plant has a capacity of 2,400MW consisting of 06 units. The project owner is Vietnam Electricity with total investment of 36,933,000 millions of VND.
